Be wary of running up your mobile bills when away in Europe.

Vodafone has become the second mobile provider in the UK to restore roaming charges when travelling abroad in Europe.

As of January 2022, Vodafone users may face extra charges, depending on their tariffs when in Europe.

In recent years UK mobile contracts have allowed users, for the most part, to use the same tariff in the EU as when they are at home.

Brexit and the EU trade deal allowed this to change.

Vodafone has said the charges will apply to certain tariffs and to new and upgrading customers, so take this into account if you are making changes to your contract.
