IT Nation Evolve - Amsterdam, 2023

Amsterdam Canal-2
Thank you to ConnectWise for hosting the recent IT Nation Evolve Security Peer Group Meeting in Amsterdam.

This January, our own Paul Matthews attended IT Nation Evolve in Amsterdam.

Thank you to Leigh and Natalie from ConnectWise for organising. We loved getting away to Amsterdam to focus on learning and we love the innovative use of ChatGPT for the ice-breakers.

The theme of this peer group was the MSP+ Framework, and we were thrilled to attend Nick Espinosa's expert talk on the 'Five Laws of Cyber Security'.

Please find out more in our latest video recap of the event.

Congratulations, Tim

tim-3-year

We are celebrating Tim Turnbull's busy first three years looking after our clients.

Not put off by joining just before the first lockdown, he made a strong start as a regular top scorer and organiser of online quizzes. He acted as a producer for clients' online conferences as events became virtual. Every year he's added to his Cloud skills and certifications as he's contributed to and planned clients' journeys to the Cloud.

Thanks for being such an important member of the team!

Tip of the month

How to message yourself on WhatsApp-1

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature in its latest update that allows its users to message themselves.

Whilst messaging yourself might sound counterintuitive at first, there are several reasons why you may want to utilise WhatsApp's new feature and keep a running conversation with yourself, instead of always having to swap to your Notes app.

Messaging yourself on WhatsApp can be useful to take quick notes whilst you're already in the app and ideas are fresh in your mind, to forward yourself pictures or videos from conversations with your friends and colleagues, or even to keep voice notes to remind yourself to do something later.

Check out the video to find out how to message yourself on WhatsApp and how best to utilise the new feature.
